The Cochrane Sexually Transmitted Diseases Group (STD Group) has been re-established as an independent Cochrane entity. Dr.Mauro Ramos is its Coordinating Editor. Its editorial base is in Porto Alegre, Brasil, where Dr. Ramos leads the Centro de Estudos de AIDS / DST do Rio Grande do Sul (CEARGS).
