Katherine Fritz, PhD, MPH


Katherine Fritz
is a Traineeship in AIDS Prevention Studies (TAPS) fellow at CAPS. She is a medical anthropologist who has focused on Africa since 1988. She has conducted anthropological research on HIV/AIDS in Uganda and Zimbabwe and is currently engaged in epidemiological and behavioral research on HIV risk associated with alcohol use and beer hall attendance among Zimbabwean men. She speaks French, Shona, and some Kiswahili.
